Danai Beach Resort goes… iPad!

Danai Beach Resort, the luxurious resort which is located in Sithonia, Chalkidiki, in cooperation with the Experience Greece team has begun developing an iPad application. It is going to offer broad and analytical information, pictures and photographs of high quality regarding the resort itself as well as extra content about landmarks in the Sithonia and Chalkidiki regions and archaeological sites in Mount Athos and Thessaloniki.

The application will be offered worldwide for free through the App Store; its launch is expected to take place within the first months of 2012 and is going to be ideal for those who are planning either to stay in Danai Beach Resort or visit the area of Chalkidiki in general. The application will be available in both English and Russian and will come together with an update for the resort’s website which will adopt a more user-friendly and modern design.

The Riefenstahl family, owners of Danai Beach Resort, decided to invest in new, innovative, digital media such as the iPad and then expand to the other tablets of the market, recognizing that they already are an important medium for the Greek and other countries’ markets. The selection of the team that created the Santorini Experience HD app for the iPad, the only application of its genre with interactive content in Greece, came thus rather naturally.
